I’m Nort Beckerman.  I wrote this book.  I write this website, and I write the associated blog.  They call me the “Brain Health Coach” because I’m not an M.D. or a Ph.D., but I’ve been studying the brain and brain function, since 2002-2003 because of my own cognitive problems.  I was told they were incurable, but possibly manageable.  They weren’t manageable.  I was afraid that I would continue to lose cognitive function.  I began studying the brain and brain function in an effort to cure or, at least, understand my cognitive problems.  That was over 14 years ago.

I not only cured my cognitive problems I expanded my cognitive abilities.   I wrote a “Users Guide to a Healthy Brain” in an effort to share what I have  learned and continue to learn about the brain and how it functions.  “A User’s Guide to a Healthy Brain” is not intended to make you a doctor or neuroscientist.  It’s intended to provide you with the information that will help you regain and maintain a healthy, effectively functioning brain.  A BOOK REVIEW ON CABLE TV FOLLOWS:
